SO yesterday this pregnancy hit 20 weeks and as a special treat to celebrate this little milestone of ours, the little bubba decided to kick nick in the hand! it was the most exciting moment in this pregnancy to date...probably because i realized that I'm not crazy! bubba really is kicking! It was really cute how it happened though: We we're lying on the floor watching a movie and bubba started moving around a bunch so i grabbed nicks hand and put it on my stomach (something I've been doing since we found out we were having a baby :D, so it wasn't anything unusual to him) well, little bubba must not have liked Nicks hand there or something because he full on catapulted herself RIGHT to the spot where his hand was and instantly Nicks head jerked up and he said "was that it??????" i laughed and said "did you feel that?" he said "was that the baby?! i felt it!".
It was a very exciting moment in our pre-parenthood life
This week the baby is:
*Able to stretch out so is officially measured from head to heel! (not head to rump).
*10 inches long! (or about the length of a banana if you like baby centers weird comparisons)
*10 1/2 ounces! so, almost a pound!
And, if we were able to get an ultrasound this week, the picture would look something like this:
Sadly, our ultrasound is scheduled for august 26th... but I can't wait!
